MRBA Services

MRBA serves as the principal liaison between the highway construction industry and state and federal agencies including MDOT, FHWA, and DEQ. Additionally, MRBA provides and coordinates lobbying efforts with other related associations and the state legislature on all matters relating to highway construction, maintenance and financing.

MRBA provides a weekly mailing to its members. This mailing includes advertisements and tabulations for MDOT, State Aid, Natchez Trace and Airport projects. With MDOT we also provide the price ranges and a bidders list.

We also provide each member with a directory that includes the names and addresses of all MRBA members along with MDOT, State Aid, County Engineers, Mississippi Legislators, Mississippi Supervisors and Chancery Clerks.

MRBA coordinates the monthly "MRBA Associate Member Reception" which is held on the Monday night prior to MDOT Letting.

We sponsor or coordinate seminars throughout the year as needed to keep up to date with various changes that affect the industry.

The annual convention is held usually the first of April or May at different locations throughout the states.

Additionally, MRBA is a founder and supporter of the Mississippi Transportation Conference and regularly participates in meetings of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA).
